The 99th winner of the 1000 Guineas, held on Friday 3rd May 1912 over the Rowley Mile, was Tagalie (20/1), a grey filly by Cyllene out of Tagale, owned by Mr W Raphael. The winner won by 1 1/2 lengths in 1 minute 39.60 secs, with 3/4 length back to the third. A field of 13 runners contested the race which was worth £5,050 (Equivalent to £545,400 in 2017)
